Umz Umz (mini CD EP)
$3.00 Recorded in Boston (actually in Medford, Mass.) in the year 2000 these three tracks are an homage and an au revoir to the techno the world was just pulling out of at the time of its recording. Say good-bye to the umz umz, and hello to the minimal age with this 3" mini cd-r.

minicdRockhits-3" mini cd-r
$3.00 Anything but rock hits, these songs were picked from various points along the timeline of gpmisarti's recording career. I call it the rock EP because the songs were picked for their inherent rock elements.

OneDay! Mine Will Be the Uglie
$4.00 A compilation project termed a compilation because the stretches of time between these experiments was so great that they don't appear to be made by the same artist, even though they are, but I guess you'd probably be able to tell. In case you haven't figured out yet, these are all cds that I burn and decorate at home. This compilation is a vow to make records ugly out of a distaste for the narcissistic tendency to base one's musical style on skill level and fanciness. These noise/edit/idea pieces are probably my native habitat.

lapekey
$3.00 electronic manipulations of samples through newly introduced programs. I don't have much to say about this, you can listen to samplings of all of these cds on our mp3 listening page. You'll get a much better understanding of this short three track EP there. This lovely cd-r is available in a compact 3" jewel case.

shaver-lin
$2.00 this is a painful-yet intellectual(in case you're into that) series of 3 pieces involving layered violin recorded to four track in a Ct. basement. It was recorded using a cheap chinese-made children's educational violin that's about thirty years old and short one peg. The violin is both screeching and painful but the minimal approach makes the listening experience possible -at least for me. One of the tracks is much more polished and computer processed. The other two pieces are left bare and live for the purist listener, one of these was affectionately tagged "Cord of Birth" by friend and fellow CarlofBaltimore, on second listen that's a good name for it.

laminal - laminim;bmasts 2000
$5.00 This double CD set is comprised of rather early four track recordings by gpmisarti. Some of it's so old I can't remember where or when I recorded it. As is common, it's the early stuff so it's probably more interesting, fresher and more honestly representative of my sensibilities. Brendon Anderegg graciously helped out with some of the mastering in his early days before Bias Peak and whatever other crazy programs he's now a certified master in. Is there an underlying theme? Of course there is, as usual! Theme in a nutshell, "the personal is political".
