Slippery Elm Bark Powder is used to treat irritation and ulceration of all mucosal membranes within the body. It will completely repair the mucus lining of any affected area and can be used in conjunction with Chamomile Tea to treat scouring in horses by healing the lining of the whole of the gastro-intestinal tract.

  • Daily treatment

  1. Brew ½ cup Camomile Tea w/ 1 pint water. Allow to cool (no need to drain flowers).
  2. Mix 1/3 cup Slippery Elm Bark Powder to cold tea mix to form a paste.
  3. Give paste directly or add to grain or bran mash.
  4. Continuing to feed a single daily dose for a period of 12 weeks will allow complete healing or any ulceration or irritation in a horses gut.
